Project description: The project plans to carry out a research aimed at the assessment of needs and problems of four rural communities. The project will be conducted with the combination of quantitative and qualitative sociological methods. Standardized surveys and group discussions will be held in selected communities. The survey will be carried out in four Armavir border rural communities: Getashen, Margara, Djanfida, Pshatavan. The research findings will be presented during a round-table discussion deigning the attention of the authorities, local governing bodies and NGOs. It'll become a basis to implement targeted and effective projects in border rural communities as well as involve Mayors in community developing projects.
