Sisian Development Center NGO 

Project description: The purpose of this project is to assist in the formation of stable, self-regulation mechanisms in the Sisian community. The primary goal is to draft a strategy to promote public participation and monitoring in the Sisian community and to present it for adoption by the avagani of the community, which will allow for the participation of community members in the decision-making process. The NGO will ensure that the public is kept informed of any decision or changes made by the avagani to the draft strategy. The organization will then develop a timetable for public participation activities, public debates and roundtable discussions between CSOs and representatives from the avagani which will result in a public debate of the strategy and the decision being adopted by the avagani.

Project discription: The aim of the project is to promote the solution of  community issues through fostering dialogue between the  community citizen and local government bodies, as well as ensure transparency and accountability in local governance through creation of women active groups in 7 communities nearby Goris, roundtable discussions, interactive performances, printed inserts, meetings with local  government bodies.
